The path to pregnancy can be different for each couple, which is why, at CMIB, we offer IVF services and packages tailored to each case. Our goal is to provide not only modern in vitro fertilization treatments, but also a medical experience based on trust, clarity and ongoing support.

IVF monitoring/ICSI (one monitoring)

  • Ultrasound monitoring:A transvaginal ultrasound is performed during ovarian hormone stimulation treatment to ascertain the number and increase in the diameter of ovarian follicles, evaluate the endometrium, find ovarian cysts, polyps, etc.
  • Hormonal monitoring:Blood is collected on the day of ultrasound for dosing of estradiol and progesterone
  • Counseling:Consultation with the gynecologist throughout the course of ovarian stimulation treatment
  • Administering treatment:Administration of injectable treatment at the Centre, if applicable
  • Training:Advice and explanation by the nurse of the patient's injection treatment at home (self administration)

IVF /ICSI package with ET on day 2-3

  • Collection of oocytes under ultrasound control
  • Pre-anesthetic consultation on the day of oocyte collection and anesthesia/analgosedation
  • Medication during the intervention and post-anesthetic monitoring and recovery
  • Reproductive cell processing in the embryology laboratory
  • In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)
  • Cultivation of embryos until day 2-3
  • Embryo transfer on day 2-3 under ultrasound guidance
  • Giving the couple privacy
  • Consultation with the embryologists of the clinic and the gynecologist to explain the medical aspects related to fertilization, the evolution of the embryos, their quality, the choice of the day of transfer and the embryos to be transferred
  • Use of incubators that improve the quality of service, personalized services, traceability system and procedures
  • First pregnancy test (HCG) in emergency (to be performed 14 days after embryo-transfer)
  • Blastocyst Culture:Cultivation of embryos in culture medium until day 5/6

  • Cultivation of embryos up to day 2-3 and/or to the blastocyst stage
  • Medical and embryological advice on fertilization, quality and cryopreservation of embryos

ICSI package — Freeze all

(ICSI with vitrification/cryopreservation of all embryos, no embryo-transfer)

Vitrification Package Ovocite

  • Oocyte sampling with analgosedation
  • Processing in the laboratory
  • Vitrification and storage in the first year (up to 3 strains/maximum 7 oocytes)

Vitrification of embryos

  • Annual storage:Oocyte/sperm/embryos/ovarian/testicular tissue in Cell Bank.
  • Tissue cryopreservation:Testicle/ovarian tissue and storage in liquid nitrogen (first year).
  • Defrosting:Testicular tissue/Embryos.

ICSI package with previously cryopreserved oocytes

  • Oocyte defrosting

Cryo-Embryo-Transfer (Cryopreserved Embryo Transfer)

  • Defrosting vitrified embryos, assessing their +/- post-thaw culture per straw

  • Surveillance in reserve and HCG test in emergency

Andrology and Male Infertility

  • Andrologic/urological consultation and control.
  • Genital ultrasound and Doppler (testicles, prostate, etc.).
  • Package consultation + urological ultrasound.
  • Spermogram and Halosperm Test (also available as a package).
  • MAR test and Postcoital test.
  • Analysis of sperm in the urine (for retrograde ejaculation).
  • Spermoculture and male infectious analyzes.
