1. General Information and Identification of the Operator
This document sets out the terms and conditions under which you can use the website www.cmib.ro. This site is the exclusive property of Bucharest International Medical Center (CMIB), located in Bdul. Dacia 103 Ap. 1 Code 020054, CUI 12522237. By browsing this site, you fully agree to these provisions. If you do not agree with the terms presented, please stop using the site immediately.
2. Nature of Information and Disclaimer of Medical Liability
- Informational Purpose: All content (text, graphics, images, procedure descriptions) is strictly informational and educational in nature.
- Does not constitute Diagnosis: The information on the site does not replace and should not be interpreted as a medical consultation, diagnosis or treatment plan. Decisions about your health should be made exclusively after a face-to-face consultation with a specialist doctor.
- Medical Emergencies: This site is not intended for emergencies. In the event of a critical medical situation, call the unique emergency number 112 immediately or show up at the nearest Emergency Reception Unit.
3. Intellectual Property
- Copyright: The design, texts, descriptions of specialties (e.g. Proctology, IVF, Cardiology) and the CMIB logo are protected by copyright law.
- Restrictions: It is strictly forbidden to copy, reproduce, republish or distribute any material on the site without the prior written consent of CMIB management. Any unauthorized use will be penalized according to the law.
4. Rules for Online Appointments
- Request vs. Confirmation: Completing the appointment form is a booking request, not a guaranteed appointment.
- Validation process: The CMIB team will contact you by phone or email to confirm physician availability and determine final details. The appointment becomes valid only after this official confirmation.
- Cancellations: Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to honor an appointment, to allow other patients access to services.
5. User Conduct and Access to Services
The User undertakes to:
- Provide real and accurate information in the contact forms.
- Do not use the site to transmit defamatory, obscene or law-breaking material.
- It does not attempt to compromise the security of the site through cyber attacks.
6. Limitation of Liability
- The CMIB makes constant efforts to keep the information on the website up to date and correct, but does not guarantee the absence of technical errors or omissions.
- We are not responsible for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of the site or the inability to access it.
- The Site may contain links to third parties (e.g. genetic analysis partners). CMIB does not control or be responsible for the content or policies of those sites.
7. Changes to Services and Prices
CMIB reserves the right to change the list of medical services, the team of doctors and the rates practiced in the clinic at any time, without the obligation to notify users on the site in advance. The final price of the medical act will be communicated at the reception of the clinic before the provision of the service.
