National Birth Support Program

About the program National program providing financial support for in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures, aimed at couples and single women. The financial support is 15,000 lei/beneficiary, provided in the form of two vouchers:

• 5,000 lei for medicines.
• 10,000 lei for medical procedures.

Bucharest International Medical Center — partner in the program Bucharest International Medical Center is a unit affiliated to the program and provides comprehensive services for diagnosis and treatment of infertility. IVF procedures are performed to high medical standards and our team provides support throughout the treatment.

Legal basis Regulated by national legislation and normative acts issued by the Ministry of Labor and partner institutions.

Eligibility criteria

• At least one of the two beneficiaries (members of the infertile couple or single woman) must be a Romanian citizen and reside in Romania.
• To have the status of insured persons in the Romanian social health insurance system.
• The procedures must be carried out in a partner health facility of the Programme, accredited (such as the CMIB).
• Age of the applicant woman: between 20 and 45 years old on the date of application.

• Medical document — indication of IVF (Annex 1b).
• GDPR Agreement (Annex 1c).
• Copy of CI and certificate insured.
